Broadcasting is transmission intended for the general public. It is prohibited. Some one-way transmissions are not broadcasting: event announcements, code practice, telecommand and telemetry. News gathering and broadcast support is allowed only when tied to the immediate safety of life or protection of property, and nothing else is available.
An auxiliary station is a one-way link between parts of a repeater system, such as a remote receiver feeding the main transmitter.
